Where is Klackle Orchards located?

Klackle Orchards is located 1 mile west of Greenville on M-57.

How much does it cost to visit Klackle Orchards?

A visit to the farm market has no cost other than your purchases. If you want to do our activities, admission is $7 weekends and $4 weekdays.

Do you allow people to drive out in the orchard?

During the week you may drive out in the orchard to pick your own, however on the weekends you must ride our wagons to pick your own.

Do you spray your apple trees?

When you have a large concentration of any type of fruit or vegetable, you are going to attract insects that feed on that particular crop. We do not spray by the calendar on a regular basis, but only when damaging numbers are present.

Is your cider pasteurized?

Yes, we use flash process that does not alter the taste of cider. We do not use preservatives or chemicals in our cider.

What apples make the best pie?

Golden Delicious and Jonagold make the best sweet pie. Northern Spy, Jonathan, Idared, Mutsu, and Braeburn make the best tart pies.

What apples hold their shape in a pie?

All apples except for MacIntosh and Cortland.

What days are you open?

We are open 7 days a week until Dec. 3 (except for Thanksgiving day).

What is the price of apples?

Apples are $10 /½ Bu., $6.00 / Peck, and $3.50 /½ Peck.
