What is 'Drop-In'?

Drop-in is basically an open playing time to anyone who wishes to participate in the game. It is not officiated and no score is kept. It is a laid back, fun time where you can practice your skills and continue to improve your game abilities.

What if I sign up for a league, but don't have a team?

Anyone who signs up will be allowed to play in our league. Generally, if there are enough individuals who are looking for a team we will form a "house" team. In the event that there are not quite enough players to form a "house" team, we always have a couple of teams with open rosters.

What is a Pavilion Power Play card?

It is an excellent way to save money on your drop in's. The Power Play Card gives you access to ten (10) drop in sessions for the cost of eight (8). The cost is $40 for members and $45 for non-members. Pavilion Power Play cards are available at the front desk.

Does it cost anything to come watch a game?

Admission is free for spectators for league games and drop in's. The Pavilion has many amenities for the entire family such as wireless internet, video games, many televisions, toys, and board games. It is a great way to spend an evening!

I would like to play goalie for Inline Hockey, but I don't have any equipment.

Come on in to drop-in nights. The Pavilion provides goalie equipment for anyone willing to try one of the most challenging positions in the sport for FREE! As an added bonus, drop-in play for goalies is also FREE!

What kind of footwear is required?

Inline Hockey: Indoor inline skates with no brakes and indoor wheels
Smooth Surface Sports: Clean tennis shoes with good traction
Field Turf Surface Sports: Clean tennis shoes with good traction or soft mold cleats. (Only soft mold are permitted.)

What is Rally point scoring in volleyball?

In rally point scoring, a point is awarded on every rally regardless of which team is serving. Games are normally played to 25 points in a best of 3 or best of 5 format. In both formats, the last game is only played to 15. You must have a 2 point advantage to win a game and there are no scoring caps in the rally point system.

Is there smoking permitted in the Pavilion?

No, the Pavilion is a smoke free facility. Designated smoking areas are at the north outside entrance.
